International Youth Conference 2022
November 21–24, Gothenburg, Sweden
Appalled by the Russian assault on Ukraine, yet strengthened in our resolve to stand up for peace and democracy, we invite you and some 25 other young people from the cities, suburbs, and the countryside of Europe to a four-day conference. We pay for sustainable travel to and from Gothenburg, lodging, and meals during your stay. The overall goal for the conference is to stand up for an open and democratic society, to empower people, and to resist the pessimistic ideas of nationalism and polarisation. Disclaimer: if Covid regulations forces us, the conference will be held online.
Your voice will be heard when you and the other conference participants present your ideas and suggestions on how to sustain a democratic and open society in a culminating 10-minute statement.
You will engage in lively discussions evolving around appointed tasks, share your life stories and experiences, visions, and longings for the future.
You apply by submitting a personal presentation and argumentation of why we should choose you, no later than 16 August. Please help us spread the word by sharing this invitation with your friends, colleagues, and relatives.
If you have any questions regarding the conference or application, send me an email. I look forward to your application!
